SDRPY Hosts Yemen Partners Group Meeting with UN, Global Attendance
he Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY) hosted the Yemen Partners Group meeting on Sunday, bringing together representatives from various United Nations organizations, international bodies, and donors. The gathering focused on supporting the Yemeni government's economic development plan and addressing its urgent priorities.
Participants discussed developmental challenges and recent updates in Yemen, exploring ways to enhance collaboration among partners. The discussions also covered strategic plans to accelerate developmental efforts, contributing to peace and stability in Yemen.
This marks the third consecutive meeting hosted by SDRPY since September 2024, reaffirming the program's commitment to unifying efforts for comprehensive development under the leadership of the Yemeni government.
Notably, SDRPY has launched 264 developmental projects and initiatives across eight key sectors: education, health, water, energy, transportation, agriculture and fisheries, government capacity building, and various developmental programs. These initiatives have benefited multiple governorates across Yemen.
