The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) implemented several volunteer medical projects yesterday, including those for burns, deformities, and plastic surgery, specialized clinics, and volunteer training to rehabilitate workers in sports injuries specialties. This initiative took place from April 27 to May 5, 2024, in Yemen’s Aden Governorate.
The projects involved 43 volunteers from various specialties, in collaboration with the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY).
During the campaign, the medical volunteer team affiliated with KSrelief performed 226 successful surgical procedures in the field of burns, deformities, and plastic surgery, all resulting in complete success. Additionally, 1,026 individuals benefited from the dermatology clinic, 2,317 individuals from the family medicine clinic, and 587 individuals from the dental clinic. Furthermore, 78 trainees were rehabilitated in the field of sports medicine.
