Yemen Teachers Begin Advanced Training with Launch of IPTC Project

Activities for the International Professional Teaching Certificates (IPTC) project were launched today in Aden Governorate, Yemen. The project aims to qualify 200 male and female teachers from Aden, Hadhramaut, and Taiz for the IPTC, enhancing their capabilities and improving the educational process.
Funded by the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY) and Hayel Saeed Anam Group, the project is implemented by the King Abdullah Institute for Research and Consulting Studies at King Saud University, in collaboration with the Humanitarian Development Program, and supervised by Yemen's Ministry of Education.
Director of SDRPY's office in Aden Ahmed Madkhali stated that the project exemplifies sustainable development in education. He emphasized SDRPY's commitment to enhancing education through the establishment of model schools, university development, and the construction of colleges and institutes.
The IPTC project serves as a model for collaboration among donor entities, educational institutions, and development organizations. It focuses on developing individual teacher skills and aims for sustainable improvement in competencies, facilitating the transfer of expertise to advance the educational process.
