SDRPY Showcases Development Efforts in Yemen at Media Oasis
The Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY) is participating in the 8th Media Oasis, held today in Riyadh in conjunction with the Extraordinary Arab and Islamic Summit, to highlight Saudi Arabia’s development efforts in Yemen.
Several officials and representatives from local and international media outlets covering the summit visited SDRPY’s pavilion.
The pavilion showcased figures and facts about the program’s efforts in supporting development in Yemen, utilizing modern technologies to present its projects and initiatives. These efforts have supported infrastructure, created job opportunities, improved essential services, and enhanced the daily lives of Yemeni citizens.
SDRPY’s pavilion provided a general overview of its contributions to advancing development in Yemen since its inception in mid-2018. It offered visitors the chance for direct engagement with SDRPY experts to answer various inquiries.
The program acquainted visitors and media delegates with its 263 projects and initiatives dedicated to supporting the Yemeni people across eight essential sectors: education, health, water, energy, transportation, agriculture and fisheries, capacity building for the Yemeni government, and development programs implemented in 16 Yemeni governorates.
